Ipoh-Penang trip Part II
24th December 2009
Early morning~ woke up around 7am tho i jz fell asleep around 5am. lacking a while frm my unrestless body and mind, then go to shower. felt fresh then we went to have dimsum for breakfast.
it was damn damn crowded, jz knw that ipoh people woke up early to have dimsum as breakfast (my parents wuld love it lol).we need to share a table with other people,ya the table is meant for 10 persons and there’s only three of them and three of u so why not just share. Back at hometown, Medan, “Nelayan”dimsum also always full wit people, pain in the ass if wanna queque for tat =.~ Done wit the breakfast, J and I were heading to the Cave, one of lots in ipoh.
the cave itself was quite impressive tho the shape of a cave usually will give me goosebumps..J told me tat this cave usually will full wit people when there’s public holiday, but this morning only got some old folks enjoying their morning by chit chatting inside by the bench. peaceful morning for them i guess 
after enjoying the view and took some pics, we took off from there and headed to Tesco nearby to have my hair cut hohoho..it’s time to shorten my hair. i was pretty impressed by the result,luckily it’s nt bad..
Movie was on the next list to do lol. planned to watch Sherlock Holmes but sadly they dint have it at ipoh’s cinema.wasted. ended up we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 at Jusco, S joined us. (the review can be read on previous post). walk around awhile afterwards then went back home rest.
Xmas eve! actually not much thing that we did on the xmas eve, but we had a very nice meal for it which is on dinner time nt on the countdown time hehe..cos on the countdown time we were already at home and sleep XD..2nd nite slept much better cos whole mind and body are tired ady.

Merry Christmas!!! actually i dint feel any xmas spirit at Ipoh hehe..cos everywhere oso seems calm and peaceful tho their Jusco will ady full wit people just b4 12! keng rite ipoh people?hahaa.. was having Curry mee for our breakfast and half boiled egg (loves it) for me.
bright morning tat day,ready to step my feet at penang soon tho i feel like staying at ipoh for couple more days.
Back to home and prepared my stuff. then went for the last Tau Fu Fah before sending me to the bus station..Thanks S&J for the few days fun! ^^
Ipoh-Penang trip Part I
23rd December 2009
Hoammm..was using train heading to Ipoh! my first ever trip to Ipoh since this 3 and half years ive been here. been waiting for this Ipoh-Penang trip for a while since ive got no other trip and no work for this holiday(note: my last holiday here >.<). sien~
i was taking the 1pm train but i went out around 10am and reached around 11.30am. no much choices for me instead of sitting in McDonald and had my brunch while waiting for my train. my seat was on the front row, facing to the coach’s wall so i got nothing that i can see,lol. the whole journey took around 3 hourse, i got nothing to do except nap, reading novel, listen to music and look outside the window which ended me up with headache and neck pain XD
Finally, there’s this beautiful station appeared on my right side, a white and kinda old look building. Ipoh there i was! once i stepped out the train, there’s J spying me behind the station’s window right in front of me. but the first thing i need to do was pee! ahaha..snapped some pics of the station then headed back to J’s house first and rest. met S there and J’s cute beautiful fat dog Lulu! hehe..so cute,love her!
Ipoh..hmm..looks like a very peaceful city, really different with KL (of course XD). this kind of city is very nice to live in,kinda looks like my hometown,Medan, tho not tat big but got lots of cars! but my hometown got more shopping malls than Ipoh, cool rite?
later at nite, we went to have the famous tauge chicken in one of the famous stall for dinner. reminds me of how much i hate to eat tauge when i was a kid, there’s this time when my fren and i were forced by his father to eat tauge! haha..it was awful XD.
Then dropped by to Ipoh Parade mall jz to look around, this mall reminds me of IOI mall at Puchong. went to yumcha a while then back home after that. Was having a quite uncomfortable first nite, jz slpt for 2 hours.disaster disaster disaster >.<

Movies Review (xmas special~)
erm,another movies review hehe..been watching movies lately, these are another movies that i had watched in this past few days, Avatar and Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. For Avatar,i think i was pretty late ady cos seems like everybody have watched it! damn hahaha..but for the Chipmunks i watched it on the first day premiere here,kinda stupid huh? haha..wateva..

Avatar, at first when i watched the trailer i tot tat..errr..not interested at all. wats tat blue thingy n everything inside. but somehow, i was surprised when i heard this movie is success and praised! hmm..few days after this movie was released, more praised are given on facebook n twitter by fren!,till now in fact. so i was thinking i need to watch this movie ASAP! finally the day came..hahah (cos my plans to watch this movie were canceled quite many time ady) and i watched it on 3D,my first time ever.
The story of the movie itself is, well, not too special..it’s kinda predictable, did anyone wan to change themselves to a blue thingy creature bcos of love?guess ya..love is blind hehe.. but what made it praised by most of the people is the visual! the awesome visual graphics and all the3D and the effect. wowza~ i was impressed, especially with how they created the avatar and the tree environments with the beautiful colours and lightings,gosh! i was really wondering how they did it at tat moment,dint u? and the 3D(movie) makes it more awesome but i had to bare wit it for 3 hours,tiring eyes. For the really great editing and visual,i’ll mark it as 4.5 stars out of 5

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. did u watch the first one? bet u did,or..maybe not,like me hahah..actually i was waiting for the Sherlock Holmes instead of this, but unlucky me,they didnt have it at Ipoh on the day it premieres at Malaysia. so okay,Chipmuck is not tat bad after all,i can give it a try since i hvnt watch the 1st as well.
This movie is yea not bad, can make u laugh and entertained by Chipmunks who sing, somemore there are 3 new characters here, the Chipsters, the girls chipmunks. they sing very well n cute haha..maybe u can enjoy ur xmas holiday by watching this movie, if u prefer “light” entertainment. the story itself,ermm, so so,ntg new for this kinds movie..i’ll give 3 stars out of 5 for this

Well,it’s movie review time (a post only bout movies, nt including my outing like some of my posts ^^) !once again im going to do a bit review of the movie that ive seen lately in the cinema..which are Princess and The Frog, Zombieland and Couple Retreat. hmmm, Avatar was actually out in cinema ady today but i hvnt manage to watch it..haiz,maybe this weekend

Ok, so the first movie is Princess and The Frog..misses Cinderella? Pocahontas? Snow White? Sleeping Beauty? then u will have a chance to cure ur miss by watching this movie~ princess, prince, villain, singing, tale, beautiful colors and view, happy ending, all complete in this movie haha..u will feel tat u back to ur childhood again, young, innocent and without stress! but some of you maybe will think “omg,what im doing here watching this kid movie” hahah..so u better dont try to watch this if u dun like to watch classic Disney movie . consider u’ve been warned!
Erm, 3 stars from 5 for the effort to bring back the classic Disney movie (bt of course nt tat classic as last time ,remember now is 2009 going to 2010?lol)

The second one will be Zombieland! watch the trailer yet? well, it’s exactly same with the movie, funny! hahah..but of course some jokes are lame,so better be prepare XD .the part when he teach us the rules to survive in Zombieland is sure can make u laugh! Zombieland is basically a show tat try to make u laugh, ntg much inside, no ending as well..oh got pretty hot chick inside if u r interested
This will be 3 stars from 5, seeing that the Effect in the opening scenes is really cool!! loves it and the jokes are not as lame as other not-so-funny-movies (note: Superhero Movie, Disaster Movie, etc)

The third one is Couples Retreat. 21+ yet? if not pls dont go watch this movie! hahah..this comedy drama is..well..funny enuf indeed..plus the dirty-jokes! having trouble with ur relationship or marriage? guess u need to go and have a vacation to Eden island! ur problem will be solved,on ur own. There’s this scene which is quite vulgar n…funny when the sexy and hot yoga instructor teach them yoga! hahah..it’s hilarious, trust me hehe..
This movie is not bad in my opinion, i’ll give 3,5 stars from 5

Final part of the Twilight Saga Christmas decor hunting at KL’s shopping mall! i add 1 more shopping mall instead of 3 malls that i mentioned before,it’s Ikano, since i dropped by there before this post is posted hehe.. Christmas is getting nearer and nearer, but still, ther’s still time for you to do some shopping! for me myself, im out of budget to shop,well, in my previous post i got mentioned that i just bought my bamboo wacom sooo..im kinda broke and i still have to save some money for ipoh-penang trip this xmas hehe unlucky me,sales are everywhere, i only bought 1 jacket from Giordano concept store in Pavillion..

This Underwater Christmas theme is an event intended for children i guess, but still its a xmas decor rite?haha..by seeing at the theme itself,underwater, most of the decos are the sea animal, like the seahorse, fish,shark with the santa’s hat on them, they even put the real fish for us to see..
Merry Christmas from The Garden
The Garden give you completely the feeling of beautiful white Christmas without making you feel cold! get what i mean? the white cage with all the butterflies are just..beautiful..i like the feeling while looking at it a lot..nt too simple but nt too crowded as well,pure beauty. ^^
Merry Christmas from Midvalley
Midvalley, which can be considered as 1 of the biggest (in size) mall in KL, has 3 themes (or more)of xmas decors! from the pics u can see the east atrium, center court and north court decors, different feel rite? can u spot the “Harry Potter” xmas theme in one of the courts? yea,tats wat i felt when i saw their decoration in the center court.really. but i like the reindeer in the cage anyway^^

Suria KLCC( the most elite mall in KL?) offers a more colourful and sweet Christmas by their candies house! it definitely is sweet and..sweet..,maybe they jz missed the Hans and Gretel inside XD..
Tat’s a wrap for my Christmas spirit of KL shopping mall! so now it’s time to judge which one is the best from all~ hoho..jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way~~ hmm for me,i’ll get my vote to…Pavillion!hope the crown fall for them hehe..anyway,it is very fun when u walk among this people in this holiday season, but depends on mood actually, sometimes you jz need to make urself happy! ^^

Well, cant get enough of the Christmas spirit in KL shopping malls? here they are , the other 4 shopping malls, Berjaya Times Square, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavillion! guess they are not loose with the previous 4 rite, awesome..my favorite from here would be Pavillion ^^

Times Square give a lot of hanging decoration here such as the snowflakes and the snowballs,impressive. the glowing balls on the xmas tree looks wonderful. but the snowhouse itself not too attractive i guess,maybe too simple? still nice anyway..
Merry Christmas from Sungei Wang
Sungei wang oso dont wanna loose with other shopping malls! hoho, they combine the xmas trees, lighting and the swan for their xmas decors..not bad. as u can see there, they were having an event,PowerRanger thingy for children as they are having their holidays now to merry the Christmas!

Unfortunately, Lot 10 doesnt give much for the Christmas celebration, but still, they try to give their visitors Christmas feeling by the xmas trees in some parts of the malls such as the entrance and escalator sides. trees with white ribbon and silver ornaments for Christmas!

You must go to Pavillion and see for yourself their xmas decors!their decors welcome you from the front door until their main hall down the stairs! u can see the beautiful blue lighting deers waiting for u to take pics with them haha..cos everyone are surrounding all these decors to take pics,wonder why?lol. Red,yellow,green and blue lights are all glowing XD *clink clink*

2 more weeks to Christmas Day! jingle bell jingle bell jingle all the way~ anybody feeling it? the xmas atmosphere? guess u do! especially when u go to the public places like Shopping malls!! hohoho..so to welcome this 2009 Christmas,i ‘ll be happy to show u the magic of Christmas in KL’s shopping malls(though not all)wuhuuu ^^.. maybe u can visit them to see for urself hehe..
Actually i just know that every years there will be a winner of Christmas decor for shopping malls and from what i heard , the winner for the past two years was MidValley wit their awesome decor, will they win again this year? u judge for urself people! for this PART I there will be e-Curve, The Curve, One Utama and Sunway Pyramid!

I like the way they do the tunnel and the animal shape topiary, they are really nice..especially when u go and see at night. beautiful . located infront of the mall itself, “the walk” to The Curve.

After finish from e-Curve, u can walk to the Curve and welcomed by this Greek column in circle shape with angel statue flying inside around the xmas trees.so antique and beautiful

At One Utama, u will have this “cold” feeling of the Christmas decor. the stage building and the trees are in white colour with snow balls around. this one is more to elegant type i guess, cos they use it as a stage for an event (as i saw when i snapped this pics)

Moulin Rouge anyone? Sunway Pyramid decors really reminds me of it, with the big windmill in red colour. light surrounds all the xmas trees, pretty nice. Booths surround the stage selling xmas stuffs. They oso decorate the walking side in some part of the malls with the snowman, xmas trees and road lamp which can be a nice place to take pics lol..
So which one you like best from these 4?? or none of them? well, i still have more to come! stay tune hehe..

My friends kidnapped me from Cyberia!! ahaha..nah, kidding . went to Puchong for Bak Kut Teh as lunch..they,S & J never try it cos they are foreigner from other part of Malaysia, lol..

Saturday (Dec 5, 2009)
Another busy weekend wit S & J (so lucky they dropped by KL) if not then i would be having a quite weekend. anyway, bfore that i went to KLCC alone for the pc fair (it was such a crowded pace which i dun like at all,somemore i was alone in the crowd @.@), was planning to buy the Bamboo wacom, but i dint see any at there except the Genius brand,not interested..Did realize the promoters at pc fair play a big part of it! they dressed so “wow” and were photographed by lots of photographer,unfortunately i didnt take any pic to show at here..some were really eye-catching! lol..great job..
Met S&J around lunch time at KLCC, walk around, went out from KLCC then headed out to Outlet store, dunno around where ady.., oh it’s Queens Park,ntg much there, but i did check out the dogs at the pet shop there,such cutiesss..after that we headed to Alor street to have our dinner, the first time i tried their chicken bakar (BBQ chicken?),nice n sweet ^^. then wacom here i comeeeeee and finally i bought it! with my own saving =.= which cost me around 600rm..sayonara Intuos 4..welcome Bamboo Fun..

oh by this time i ady snapped Sg.Wang, Pavillion, Sunway, 1U, The Curve, Cineleissure’s xmas decoration..hohooh…but still i havent manage to snap other shopping malls.
And there’s this sudden plan to go clubbing ahaha..great..quite sometimes dint go club ady..im a gud boy eh? XD..so tat means drink and dance..nt too crowded tat nite,dunno where all the ppl go? haha..maybe they are holiday-ing to somewhere else..this time my head was quite heavy bcos of the beer..jz realize i was kinda lame haha..but i was still ok,jz heavy-head. went back around 3am. tired!
Sunday (Dec 6, 009)
Went to have our brunch around 1 at Pink Sage (u knw this cafe?) around Cap Square there..the food is in western style..nvr know got a cafe at there,maybe cos vy less pass by there, but its kinda crowded at there, a classy crowded, not pasar ramai crowded hahah..
Done with brunch, went to Cap Square a while which was so damn empty..so less ppl..still can count i guess..(jz remember that there’s no xmas decoration inside =.=?) afterwards we went to Midvalley-The Garden, it was so so crowded, full of ppl with Christmas spirits everywhere.. wonderful! the pics still will up later ^^.
Stay there not too long cos my lovely frens need to go back to where they came from tat night ahah..so i was sent back to Cyberia..
